This is something I worked on forever ago (2003?) that I stumbled across while going through my archives.

This was an illustration done by Sam Lotfi for the magazine Anime Invasion, which later turned into Anime Insider. I colored it, and it was a lot of fun to do. It was one of many "versus" things where one series would face off against another.

As I am a lifelong Lupin fan and I enjoy Trigun, I was more than happy to color this. As the image has only appeared the once and I think the magazine has stopped publication, I figured I should share it.

This is the actual published version where Lupin has his red jacket and white tie as that was the version airing on Cartoon Network at the time, but I always felt it clashed with Vash too much and I preferred the green jacket version better. Regardless, here it is, as it was in the mag back in 2003.
